Elevator
↑Charlotte Hoops Challenge: We like the move to give more local teams a chance at the big stage when so many elite holiday tournaments are narrowing potential fields to teams that attract regional or national rosters.
↑Providence girls: 5-0 after beating Providence Day at the Charlotte Hoops Challenge. Panthers are heading towards a third straight winning season under coach Jennifer Bean. Before that, it had been since at least 2005-06 that Providence had any winning season.
↑Vance girls: in a battle of top 5 Sweet 16 teams, Vance got a huge games from Kyanna Morgan, Tanajah Hayes, Leah Barringer and Trinity Moreland to beat Butler 64-46 at the Charlotte Hoops Challenge.
↑Jaylen Curry, Vance: freshman point guard scored nine points, had four assists and hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer against Butler. Vance won 53-52 at the Charlotte Hoops Challenge.
