Tuesday’s Boys Top Performers
Anthony Davis, Lincoln Charter: 28 points, nine rebounds, two assists in an 89-79 win over Pine Lake Prep.
Garrett Hien, First Assembly: 30 points in a 86-71 win over Hickory Grove. AJ Smith had 28 for Hickory Grove.
Clay Hodges, Lake Norman: eight points, five assists and three free throws to ice Tuesday’s 53-49 win over West Charlotte.
Peter Lash, Charlotte Christian: career-high 31 points, 10 rebounds in an 80-66 win over High Point Christian.
DJ Nix, Jaden Bradley, Elijah Ormiston, Cannon School: In an 80-65 win over United Faith, Nix had 20 points, three rebounds; Bradley had 26 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and three steals; Ormiston finished with 19 points, eight rebounds.
Tristan Maxwell, Jeremy Gregory, North Mecklenburg: In an 81-37 win over Mooresville, Maxwell had 27 points, nine rebounds. Gregory had 15 points, 11 rebounds.
Jeremiah Murphy, Queens Grant: 27 points, 11 rebounds in an 81-58 win over Arborbrook Christian.
Jaylen Steele, Christ The King: 17 points, four steals in a 60-51 win over Charlotte Country Day.
Michael Zanoni, Providence Day: made 7-out-12 3-points in a 61-55 loss to 3-time NCISAA state champ Greensboro Day. Zanoni finished with 25 points. Teammate Bryce Scott finished with 11 points, eight rebounds, six assists.
Tuesday’s Girls Top Performers
Neveah Brown, Mallard Creek: game-high 19 points for the Mavericks, No. 2 in the Sweet 16, who beat No. 1 Vance 61-58 before a sold-out crowd at home.
Breya Busby, Charlotte Christian: 19 points, five rebounds, four steals and three steals in a 53-46 win over High Point Christian.
Kennedy Calhoun, Hickory Ridge: 19 points 3 assist and 7 steals in a road win at Concord HS.
Anna Galloway, Trinity Mathis, Cannon School: Galloway had 18 points, 10 rebounds in a 71-21 win over United Faith. Mathis (13 points, 11 rebounds) also had a double-double.
Mallorie Haines, Davidson Day: 39 points, three rebounds, two steals in a 63-37 win Mountain Island Charter.
Jessica Timmons, North Mecklenburg: 30 points, 12 rebounds, 10 steals -- a triple-double -- in a win over Mooresville. The Vikings are 6-1.
Hallie Treva, Ashe County: 20 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 65-59 win over Alexander Central.
