Charlotte Christian star repeats as Observer boys basketball player of the week
Charlotte Christian’s Peter Lash is Charlotte Observer boys basketball player of the week for the second time this season.
Lash, a 6-6 senior forward, averaged 19.3 points and seven rebounds in three games at the DeMatha Christmas Classic just outside of Washington, D.C.
Lash had 20 points and eight rebounds in a 64-53 win over Georgetown Prep Dec. 27.
The next day, Lash had 12 points and five rebounds in a 92-46 loss to DeMatha.
Lash finished his week with 26 points and eight rebounds in the Knights’ (8-4) 55-52 win over Riverdale Baptist Dec. 29.
