Eva Butler, Providence: 11 points, seven steals, six assists and four rebounds in a 60-22 win over East Meck.

Mary Holland Waters, Charlotte Country Day: 21 points in a 71-53 win over Covenant Day. She scored her 1,000th career point in the game.

Khalia King, Kings Mountain: 20 points including 4-of-7 from 3-point range in a 45-41 win over Ashbrook.

Kamryn Kitchen, Independence: freshman had 28 points in a rivalry game with Butler. Teammate Kaylee Carson had 25 in the 74-56 win.

Anastasia Sinclair, South Mecklenburg: 19 points, seven rebounds in a 68-27 win over Harding.

Friday’s Elevator

Providence Day defense: trailing 18-15 at half, Providence Day held Latin to eight points in the second half of a 41-29 come-from-behind win.

Madison Self, East Lincoln: had her seventh double-double of the season (10 points, 11 rebounds) in a 59-46 win over North Iredell.
