Silas Demary Jr., Combine Academy: The 6-foot-4 Southern California recruit led Liberty Heights to the Phenom Hoops’ Hoop State NC finals year before moving to Lincolnton-based Combine with head coach Michael Wright. 247 Sports ranks him No. 58 nationally.

Isaiah Evans, North Mecklenburg: The 6-foot-7 junior (19 ppg, 6 rpg) is one of the top 25 recruits in the nation with offers from Florida State, Kansas and more.

Trentyn Flowers, Combine Academy: The 6-foot-8 junior transfer is ranked No. 21 nationally by 247 Sports and has offers from schools like Kansas, Michigan and North Carolina.

Sir Mohammed, Myers Park: The 6-foot-6 junior wing (17 ppg, 6 rpg, 5 apg) is a nationally ranked prospect who can play four positions.

Jaeden Mustaf, Carmel Christian: The 6-foot-6 junior, DeMatha Catholic (MD) transfer is a top 40 national recruit in the class of 2024.

North Meck’s Evans named to Junior NBA ‘Court of Leaders’

North Mecklenburg junior Isaiah Evans, a top 25 national recruit, will be part of the Junior NBA Court of Leaders.

The program launched in April 2021 and aims to support the development of promising young boys and girls through mentorship opportunities and life skills programming focused on career readiness and community impact.

Evans will join other top youth basketball players nationwide hwo have demonstrated leadership qualities during elite tournaments, camps and competitions throughout the country.

Programming will tip-off this weekend with an educational trip to Washington, D.C. from Nov. 11-13 featuring tours of the White House, National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, among other activities.
