Katie Dennison, Providence Day: sophomore had a career-high 11 points in a 53-11 win over Covenant Day. She made all four of field goal attempts, including three made 3-pointers.
Maddie Frank, South Point: 25 points, five assists in a 64-29 win over North Gaston.
Ginny Overbay, East Lincoln: 15 points, five steals, four rebounds, three assists in a 62-16 win over North Lincoln.
Kelsey Rhyne, Lake Norman: game-high 21 points in a 76-38 win over Mooresville.
Blanca Thomas, Charlotte Catholic: With South Carolina coach Dawn Staley and N.C. State’s Wes Moore watching, Thomas had 37 points, 21 rebounds, three blocks and two assists in a 67-49 win over Bishop McGuinness, the No. 1 ranked 1A team in North Carolina.
