Cannon School’s Maggie Murphy is The Observer’s girls’ high school athlete of the week.
The Cougars’ sophomore attacker had three goals, five assists and two caused turnovers in a 16-0 win at Cary Academy on April 12.
Murphy also had three goals, four assists and one caused turnover in a 13-10 loss to Providence Day on April 8.
Murphy has 32 goals, 35 assists, 22 groundballs, 14 caused turnovers and two draw controls for Cannon School (6-4) this season.
