Providence Day’s Bridget Brewster is The Observer’s girls’ athlete of the week.
The Chargers’ junior had seven saves as Providence Day won 11-6 at Charlotte Latin, beating the Hawks for the first time in school history on April 15.
Brewster, who has saved 57% of the shots on goal this season, and has 350 career saves. She has helped Providence Day to a perfect 13-0 record this season.
