Here are the nominees for The Charlotte Observer’s boys’ golfer of the year.
To qualify, an athlete had to be an individual state champion.
The poll closes Friday.

Notes: Poll results may not always be shown..The Observer will run several polls this week for spring sports player of the year. The athlete will the most votes among all the polls will be featured in an article.
This year’s nominees
Will Hartman, Charlotte Catholic: Hartman won his second NCHSAA 4A state title last month. Hartman, who also won the title in 2022, shot a 1-under-par 35 on a rain-shortened Day 1 and shot a 7-under 65 on Day 2 to win the championship by two shots.
Henry Holland, Charlotte Latin: Holland shot a two-day total of 136, 8-under-par, in Greensboro to win the NCISAA Division I state championship. He won by three shots. His team repeated as state champion.
Warren Stiglitz, East Lincoln: Stiglitz won the NCHSAA 3A state championship in Fayetteville last month. Stiglitz shot 1-under-par 71 on Day 1 and followed that up with a 5-under 67 on Day 2. He finished six under par for the tournament and two shots clear of second place.
