One night of CMS high school football games is moving to a new date. What to know
Charlotte-area high school football fans are going to have to make a little adjustment to the calendar.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is moving one night of its high school football schedule later this month.
Games originally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 31 will now be played on Oct. 30, CMS told The Observer.
The games were moved to avoid district games on Halloween.
The week is the final one in the regular-season. The NCHSAA playoffs are scheduled to begin Friday, Nov. 7 with the playoff field being announced Monday, Nov. 3.

Note: Olympic plays at Hickory Ridge and Berry plays at Cox Mill, both in Cabarrus County, on Oct. 31.
