Brooke Fowler, Parkwood: The 5-5 senior guard scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds, one assist and six steals in a 49-11 win over Sun Valley in the season-opener on Nov. 19.

Fowler also scored 19 points and had eight rebounds, five assists and three steals in a 62-43 loss at Ballantyne Ridge Nov. 21.

Parkwood is 1-1 this season.

Justice Hegwood, Central Academy: The 5-7 senior scored 19 points in a 42-28 loss at Langtree Charter on Nov. 17.

The next day, Hegwood poured in 38 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter, as Central Academy fell just short of a comeback in a 58-52 loss at Lee Park Prep.

Central Academy is 0-2 this season.

Reece Long, Lake Norman Charter: The 5-9 senior scored 24 points, had four rebounds, three assists and four steals in a 56-39 win at Mount Pleasant on Nov. 18.

The next night, Long scored 27 points to go with 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 68-56 victory over Statesville.

Long finished off the week with 24 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and a block in a 57-18 win over Piedmont Charter.

Lake Norman Charter is 3-0 this season.

Miley Malcolm, Porter Ridge: The 6-2 senior scored 17 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, had four assists, two blocks and a steal in a 71-44 win at Forest Hills on Nov. 19.

Malcolm, a Drexel University commit, also scored 23 points, including seven 3-pointers, to go with four rebounds, two assists and a steal in a 54-48 win at Providence on Nov. 21.

Porter Ridge is 2-0 this season.
