Ma-Kaela Gidney, Hickory Ridge: The 5-7 senior scored 28 points and had 11 steals in a 75-10 win at Jay M. Robinson on Dec. 5.
Gidney is averaging 18.2 points per game for Hickory Ridge (4-1) this season.
Reece Long, Lake Norman Charter: The 5-9 senior scored 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds, had five assists and six steals in a 69-16 win over Concord on Dec. 2.

Kate Schindler, Marvin Ridge: The 6-foot senior shooting guard scored 23 points, including her 1,000th career point, to go with one rebound, four assists and two steals in a 64-24 win at Charlotte Country Day on Dec. 2.
The next night, Schindler scored 24 points, had six rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 54-48 victory over South Mecklenburg.
Schindler, a University of Richmond commit, is averaging 15 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal per game for Marvin Ridge (4-2).
