Elijay Schellenberg, Lake Norman Lacrosse: The Wildcats’ senior attacker scored four goals and had two assists in a 19-6 win at Davie County on April 21.

Schellenberg also scored four goals in a 16-7 victory over Northwest Guilford on April 23.

Lake Norman is 15-4 overall this season.

Max Wearing, Palisades baseball: The Pumas’ senior went 2-for-3 at the plate with double and a run scored in a 2-1 win at East Mecklenburg on April 21.

Wearing went 3-for-3 with two home runs, five RBIs and two run scored in an 8-0 victory over East Mecklenburg on April 24.

Wearing was also 2-for-3 at the plate with one RBI and one run scored in 7-3 loss at South Point on April 20.

Brady Williamson, Cuthbertson baseball: The Cavaliers’ junior went 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run, four RBIs and a run scored in an 11-1 win at Hickory Grove on April 21.

Williamson also went 2-for-3 at the plate with a home run, a double, two RBIs and two runs scored in an 11-3 victory over Carmel Christian on April 23.

Williamson is batting .432 with nine home runs and 34 RBIs for Cuthbertson (19-4) this season.

Trevor Yancey, Providence Day baseball: The Chargers’ junior pitcher tossed a complete-game no-hitter with 14 strikeouts in a 6-0 win at Charlotte Country Day on April 21.

Providence Day (16-5-1) also beat Charlotte Country at home, 6-1, on April 23, and won 4-3 over the Pro Strick Royals Academy on April 24.

Yancey, a University of Pittsburgh commit, is 6-1 on the mound with 65 strikeouts and a 0.40 ERA for the Chargers this season.

Gavin Yow, A.L. Brown baseball: The Wonders’ senior went 4-for-10 at the plate with two home runs and seven RBIs as A.L. Brown went 2-1 last week.

Yow hit a grand-slam, home run in a 15-1 win at West Cabarrus on April 21.

Yow hit a two-run home run in a 6-5 loss at South Iredell on April 22.

A.L. Brown (16-8) also won 4-1 over West Cabarrus on April 24.
