Emma Adams, Providence Day track: Adams won the CISAA conference championship in the triple jump, jumping 35 feet. She finished second in the 100 hurdles (personal-best 15.75 seconds), fourth in the long jump (15-7.25) and she scored 18 individual points.

Bella-Marie Black, Mallard Creek track: The Mavericks’ sophomore won the 100 meters (11.54 seconds) and the 200 (24.17) in the N.C. 8A Western Regional championship last week.

Kiri Campbell, Metrolina Christian track: Campbell, a junior, won four events (100-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, 100 meters, 200 meters) at the MAC Conference Track and Field Championships, setting two meet records and two school records (in both hurdle events), to help the girls’ team win its 10th straight conference title. Her time of 44.27 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles is 10th fastest in North Carolina this season, including public, private and charter schools.

Evelyn Hee, Providence Day track: Hee won the 100 meters at the CISAA conference championships, running a season-best time of 15.21. She finished second in the long jump (17-3.5) and the triple jump (34-9.75). Hee also anchored the Chargers’ 400-meter relay team that finished second.

Bailey Knox, Gaston Christian soccer: Knox, a sophomore, had four goals in a 4-1 win over Asheville Christian in the NCISAA state quarterfinals.

Maggie Murphy, Cannon School lacrosse: Murphy had six goals, two assists and a forced turnover in a 16-7 win over Durham Academy in the NCISAA state quarterfinals. This season, Murphy has 57 goals and 39 assists.

Deanna Rocha, North Mecklenburg soccer: Rocha, a senior, is a three-year varsity player for the Vikings. She had four goals and two assists against West Charlotte on Senior Night, a 10-1 win. She scored one goal against Central Cabarrus in her final game.

Elise Wrenholt, Cannon School track: Wrenholt, a senior, won the 3,200-meters (11:05), the 800 (2:18) and anchored the winning 1,600-meter relay team (school-record 4:04.39) at the CISAA championships.
