Winter Storm sends schools scrambling to reschedule basketball, swimming events
With most private and public schools calling classes off Friday due to an impending snowstorm, Friday’s heavy high school basketball schedule has largely been postponed. Friday’s scheduled SoMeck 8 swim meet at Charlotte Latin was moved to Monday. Swimming will begin at Charlotte Latin at 8 a.m.
Saturday’s Southwestern 4A swimming meet, also scheduled for Latin, is also postponed. A makeup date has not yet been announced.
The SoMeck swim meet is tentatively scheduled for Monday at Charlotte Latin.
Here are rescheduled basketball games that we know of. Games listed as being played Friday have not been reported to us as being rescheduled yet. Please check back for updates. No games are scheduled for Friday.
