2025 NFL Draft: Updated Carolina Panthers pick order for each selection this year
The Carolina Panthers own nine picks in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. And now, following a major update from the league, they know exactly where they’ll pick with each selection.
Following the disbursement of compensatory picks — the Panthers didn’t receive any — the selection order for the draft has been finalized.
Below are the Panthers’ picks with round and order numbers, along with how the selections were acquired:
▪ First round: Eighth overall (original pick)
▪ Second round: 57th overall (via Rams — acquired in 2024 trade back; original choice sent to Chicago Bears in 2023 trade up to No. 1 pick)
▪ Third round: 74th overall (original pick)
▪ Fourth round (2): 111th overall (original pick), 114th overall (via Cowboys — acquired in 2024 Jonathan Mingo trade)
▪ Fifth round (3): 140th overall (via Giants — acquired in 2024 Brian Burns trade), 146th overall (original pick), 163rd overall pick (via Ravens — acquired in 2024 Diontae Johnson trade)
▪ Sixth round (0): N/A (sixth-round pick traded to Ravens in previously mentioned Johnson trade)
▪ Seventh round: 230th overall pick (via Cardinals — acquired in 2022 Robbie “Chosen” Anderson trade; original choice was sent to Chiefs in 2023 Ihmir Smith-Marsette trade)
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from Thursday, April 24 to Saturday, April 26.
The Panthers’ current slate of nine picks is the largest grouping the team has had since the 2021 draft when the team selected 11 prospects under then-head coach Matt Rhule.
