Carolina Panthers raise season-ticket prices for some seats in 2025, but not all

The Carolina Panthers are raising their average season-ticket price for the 2025 season — though not every season-ticket holder will pay a higher price.

According to a Panthers spokesperson, the Panthers are increasing their overall blended average ticket price by “just over 6%.” This means that the total cost of Permanent Seat License-owned seats will exceed last year’s total by 6%.

The team, however, is not increasing season-ticket prices in the upper level, per the spokesperson. The most affordable package price, for example, remains the same from 2024 to 2025 at $510.

Lower-bowl pricing data was not disclosed. Premium tickets — club seats and suites — will increase based on the terms of their contracts.

The PSL Owner renewal notice went out Tuesday. The deadline to renew for season tickets is May 1. All PSL Owners can enroll in a six-month, interest-free payment plan or pay in full by the May deadline, according to a team spokesperson.

The Panthers raised their tickets before last season, too, by an average of just over 4%. That news was met with predictable backlash following the team’s then-sixth consecutive losing season, one that saw Carolina fire its head coach mid-season before finishing with a league-worst record of 2-15.

Still, even with that increase, the Panthers averaged 70,612 in tickets distributed in 2024 — 13th in the NFL, per ESPN — and the team’s season-ticket renewals last year ranked among the highest in the NFL.

It’s fair to suppose a similar trend will continue in 2025. The Panthers gave up an NFL all-time most 534 points and went 5-12 last season — stretching their losing streak to seven years — but the coach Dave Canales-led team still engendered hope for the fan base. That hope peaked after the Panthers won two of their last three, with quarterback Bryce Young soaring for five touchdowns in their victorious finale over the Atlanta Falcons.

How does this increase compare across the league?

A team spokesperson said that the Panthers ranked 20th in the NFL in non-premium ticket pricing and added that “we expect to remain in a comparable ranking in 2025.”

Out of the league’s 32 teams, 24 have announced increased ticket prices for the 2025 season, per data compiled by the Panthers. Six avoided increases and two haven’t yet released pricing information.

How many Panthers fans are PSL owners?

A permanent seat license gives you the exclusive rights to buy season tickets for a particular seat, or seats, at Bank of America Stadium. In other words, you must pay the one-time fee of being a PSL owner for certain seats before you have access to pay the additional annual cost for season tickets.

PSL owners also get access to exclusive events, as well as to a dedicated PSL owner service team, according to the team website. A team spokesperson said that in 2025 the team is “rolling out a new PSL Owner Member Benefits Plan” that is designed to enhance PSL membership.

The team did not disclose the amount of PSL owners it has currently. The Observer reported in 2018 that there were 62,000 PSL tickets controlled by 23,000 account holders.

How many home games do the Panthers have in 2025?

The Panthers are slated to play eight home regular-season contests in 2025.
