Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton posts first photo of infant son, Chosen

Chosen has finally gone public. Friday afternoon, Carolina Panthers' quarterback Cam Newton posted a photo of his infant son, believed to be the first public photo of the little boy.

Newton welcomed his son, Chosen, into the world on Christmas Eve. His Panthers teammates and friends in the locker room said they saw an immediate effect on the quarterback.

“He’s kind of got a glow,” running back Mike Tolbert said about Newton. “You can see it. You can see something’s different ... and obviously that’s it."

Newton posted the photo of his first child on his Instagram account shortly after 4 p.m.

In the photo, Chosen was posed between trophies Newton received during the NFL Honors last weekend, the Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year.
