From tailgate markets in small communities to fully loaded state-run markets, going to farmers’ markets is a way of life around here. For some of you, it’s a weekly event. For others, it’s something special to do every once in a while.

The styles of markets vary widely as well, from grower-only markets to truck markets that bring in food from all over. And while some markets open just for the summer, others stay open all year. Even in winter, there are plenty of fresh foods to harvest around here.
