Popular Charlotte wine and food shop gets ready to move south
Now that his hot cocktail-and-food restaurant Dot Dot Dot is finally open, Conrad Hunter is ready to make a change with Foxcroft Wine Co., his popular wine store/cafe.
Hunter announced Tuesday that Foxcroft will open a new location in Greenville, S.C.’s historic West End neighborhood this summer, its third location and the first outside of Charlotte.
“We love everything we see happening in this market and have had our eyes on this wonderful city for some time,” Hunter said. “To make Greenville our first expansion city is very exciting for all of us.”
Foxcroft has a lease agreement at 631 S. Main St., in a 4,000-square-foot space that was Greenville’s original Ford Motor dealership with a target opening in July. Greenville’s West End is across the Reedy River from downtown. The original home of Furman University until 1852, it’s sometimes called Greenville’s “second downtown.”
Foxcroft has two locations in Charlotte, at 7824 Fairview Road and 1235 East Blvd. Dot Dot Dot, also owned by Hunter, is in the Backlot section of Park Road Shopping Center.
