NC tech firms agree to merge, will keep Charlotte and Raleigh offices

Associated Press

Two North Carolina technology firms said Tuesday they have agreed to merge, creating a company with offices in Charlotte and Raleigh offering customers marketing and data services.

Charlotte-based Technekes, which offers data-driven marketing and sales services, is merging with Raleigh-based XSInc, which provides data and analytics for the agriculture and turf industries. The companies did not disclose terms of the deal.

The merged company will have 145-plus employees, with offices in Charlotte and Raleigh.

“This merger allows us to deliver an extraordinary suite of data-driven services,” said Steve Amedio, Technekes’ president and chief operating officer in a statement. “Both companies have deep, long-standing relationships with clients throughout North America."
