I-85 southbound reopens Wednesday near China Grove after truck fire

All lanes of Interstate 85 reopened at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, after firefighters cleared the aftermath of a tractor-trailer fire in the China Grove area of Rowan County.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. on at southbound at mile marker 65 near China Grove, reports the Observer’s news partner WBTV.

Details were not released as to what caused the tractor-trailer to catch fire, or whether anyone was injured. reports WBTV.
