3 bicyclists hospitalized after vehicle hits them in northeast Charlotte
Three bicyclists were hospitalized after a vehicle hit them in northeast Charlotte on Tuesday night, Medic reported.
Medic treated one cyclist for serious injuries and took the patient to Carolinas Medical Center. Two other cyclists were treated for minor injuries and taken to separate hospitals, according to Medic.
The vehicle hit the cyclists at about 7:30 p.m. in an industrial area at General Commerce Drive and Industrial Center Circle. The intersection is near Orr Road, which leads to Old Concord Road and North Tryon Street.
A tractor-trailer might have been involved in the collision, Observer news partner WBTV reported from the scene.
