A 74-year-old woman was violently punched in the face while walking to her car at the Charlotte Premium Outlets, reports Charlotte TV station WCNC. And it happened in broad daylight.

“I’m still shaking,” the unnamed victim told the station Tuesday. “It was from behind, and I was getting into my car.”

The attack happened at 5 p.m. Sunday, according to Charlotte TV station WSOC.

WCNC reported that the victim awoke to find herself in a hospital. “I didn’t know I was there, and I didn’t know my name,” she told the station.

It was unclear if the culprit had a weapon or just used fists. No arrests have been made in the case.

A similar attack was reported in the parking lot of SouthPark mall in April.

In that case, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said a 56-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed at 2 p.m. on a Wednesday in the parking deck at SouthPark. It happened outside Nordstrom, police said. The culprit was a man who hit her in the face.
