A Lincoln County man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly shot his ex-girlfriend in the face as she sat in her car.
The suspect, 48-year-old David Wayne Conn, was arrested Tuesday at about 10:15 p.m., in a horse trailer off King Wilkinson Road in Denver, N.C. Conn was living in the trailer with the permission of the property owner, said the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
