A Lincoln County man died Monday afternoon when the truck he was working beneath fell on him, officials said.
Michael Queen, 50, who lived on George Brown Road in the town of Crouse, had the truck up on jack stands while he was working on it, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office.
Queen’s wife came home, found him pinned beneath the truck and called 911.
Shortly before 1:30 p.m., Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies and emergency workers, along with the Crouse Fire Department, were dispatched to the call.

Queen was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have concluded that the incident was accidental.
