Lancaster County house fire kills one man early Sunday morning

One man was killed in a house fire in Lancaster County, South Carolina, early Sunday.

Authorities say the fire started around 2:50 a.m. on the 2400 block of Mary Lee Lane in Buford. When firefighters arrived on the scene, the house was fully engulfed in flames.

The victim was found inside. Another person who lives at the house was not home at the time.

The cause and origin of the fire has not yet been determined.

The identity of the victim was expected to be released Sunday afternoon.
