Who in Charlotte won $1 million Tuesday in the lottery? It’s still a mystery.

Charlotteans need to check their lottery tickets. A North Carolina Lottery Mega Millions ticket won the highest prize in Tuesday’s drawing and no one has stepped up to claim the $1 million yet.

The lucky ticket was sold at the Food Lion on Sunset Road West in north Charlotte, near Beatties Ford Road. It matched all five white balls drawn to win, beating odds of 1 in 12.6 million.

The winning numbers were 2-6-30-31-55 for the white balls and 7 for the Megaball.

A second ticket in North Carolina won $10,000 on Tuesday by matching four of the numbers on the white balls and the Megaball. The ticket was sold at the Handy Mart on Herring Avenue in Wilson.

Winners have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.

The jackpot for Friday’s drawing is $76 million, worth $46.6 million cash.
