Woman shot during robbery in South End

A woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after she was shot during a robbery in South End late Friday, police said.

Ruijuan Guo, 33, was shot at about 11:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East Park Avenue, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said. Medic took Guo to Carolinas Medical Center.
