Man found dead in Shelby home

Shelby police are investigating what happened to a 28-year-old man found dead Saturday at a home with an apparent gunshot wound.

Authorities identified the deceased person found inside 200 Merit Drive about 5:30 p.m. as Wade Treashaun Hamilton.

There have been no arrests, police said.
