1 man killed, 3 injured in shooting outside Hickory bar
One man was killed and three others injured in a shooting outside a Hickory nightclub Sunday night, Hickory Police said.
All four men had been customers at The Vault Bar and Lounge just before the shooting, police said.
Antonio Knoshjun Watts, 20, was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital around 2 a.m. Sunday. He was from Claremont, which is about 20 minutes from Hickory, police said.
Two of the men — a 28-year-old from Morganton and a 23-year-old from Gastonia — were treated for gunshot wounds at local hospitals and released Sunday. The third injured man, a 25-year-old from Hickory, was transferred to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where he's being treated for gunshot wounds, police said.
Police said they found "numerous" shell casings outside the nightclub, which is on 1st Avenue NW in downtown Hickory.
The shooting is under investigation. Police ask anyone with information to call 828-261-2621.
