Three men accused of murder after driver fatally shot in northeast Charlotte, cops say

Three men were arrested Thursday night in connection with the death of man who was shot Monday while driving his car in the University City area.

The men — Demahj Wright, 21, Oyontai Bostic, 19, and Demetrey Leake, 20 — each face murder charges in the shooting death of Tevin Snow.

Snow, 25, was driving his car in the 1000 block of West WT Boulevard Monday morning, when someone shot into his car, police said. He lost control of the car and crashed into a guardrail.

Snow was taken to Carolinas Medical Center, where he later died.

Leake also faces a speeding charge in connection to the case, according to jail records.
