Victim identified in Tuesday’s fatal shooting north of uptown Charlotte
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police on Wednesday identified the victim of Tuesday’s fatal shooting north of uptown as Deondre White, 22.
White was shot in the 1900 block of Newcastle Street. Detectives said they were called to the area, just south of LaSalle Street, at 6:41 a.m. White was pronounced dead on the scene by Medic, officials said.
