Meet the candidates at Charlotte Observer/WBTV mayoral debate
Before you hit the polls, get to know the Charlotte mayoral candidates and hear them answer key questions at The Charlotte Observer/WBTV mayoral debate sponsored by Duke Energy on Sept. 2 and hosted by Queens University of Charlotte. Republican candidates Scott Stone and Edwin Peacock and Democrats Michael Barnes, Dan Clodfelter, Roderick Davis, David Howard and Jennifer Roberts plan to participate.
WBTV senior reporter Steve Crump will moderate, and WBTV anchor Jamie Boll will moderate audience questions.
Debate highlights to include a pre-event meet-and-greet with candidates and a lightning round of questions. The debate will air live on CharlotteObserver.com and WBTV.com and on WBTV's Bounce station, 1255 on Time Warner Cable. The debate is free, but we ask that you register at bit.ly/CLTmayor.
