Myers Park’s Mustangs join the Observer’s Sweet 16 this week after beating former No. 14 Ardrey Kell.

The Knights dropped one spot to No. 15.

Myers Park is 2-0 and winning by an average of nearly 20 points under third-year coach Scott Chadwick.

Elsewhere, Mallard Creek remains No. 1 and former No. 2 Butler drops a spot after losing to the Mavericks at home Friday. That allowed Hough to move up to No. 2, the highest the school has ever been ranked.
