Report: Former Panthers, Cowboys star Greg Hardy indicted on cocaine charge

Former Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys star Greg Hardy has been indicted on a single felony cocaine charge, according to USA Today.

Citing court records, USA Today wrote that a search of his car turned up a “purple plastic baggie containing a white pasty substance.” The estimated weight of the cocaine was 0.7 grams.

Under Texas law, the former defensive end faces a prison term and a fine, although Hardy could reach a deal to avoid imprisonment.
