Carolina Panthers fans kept pounding the team's new draft cap online after its release on Tuesday.

Fans panned the "Two States. One Team" moniker on the front of the cap and said it should have included the team's fan-favorite "Keep Pounding" slogan. "Keep Pounding " appears on the flip side of the cap.

New Era announced the 32 official 2018 NFL Draft hats that draftees will sport at the NFL Draft April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

"Ugh, I hate this slogan so bad," tweeted Charlotte web designer Chris Adams of the Panthers cap.

"I hate all theses hats and now this one the most should say Keeppounding @Panthers you guys need to get on this," fan "Erk the Turk " tweeted.

Fan Tyler George tweeted a Gif of the late actor Gene Wilder saying in a film scene, "Oh, uhh. No thanks."

Some fans also took issue with the hat's design.

"Did they hot glue the letters on?" asked fan Drew "Oi" MacDonald.

So did any fan defend the cap?

Austin Rentzel of St. Stephen, S.C., seemed to be a lone voice in favor of the cap.

"While I don’t like the look, I fully support the slogan," Rentzel tweeted. "People forget we represent SC too."

But most were like the guy named "Bear" from Charlotte.

"Good lord that is horrible," Bear tweeted.
