A build-your-own salad restaurant is opening a new location in Charlotte’s South End
A fast-casual restaurant known for its customizable salads, wraps and more is bringing another location to Charlotte.
Salata is opening its newest restaurant in South End this week on Thursday, Jan. 18 — the third one that’s located in the area.
The Texas-based chain, which has nearly 100 restaurants across the country, made its North Carolina debut back in 2021 in uptown, CharlotteFive previously reported. A year later, the second Charlotte location opened in Rea Farms.
Now you’ll be able to grab a bite to eat for lunch or dinner at Salata in Lower South End, whether you want to dine-in, pick up or get a meal delivered.
Similar to all of its other locations, the restaurant will offer build-to-order salads with over 50 toppings, including fresh fruit, vegetables and proteins that will be prepared and chopped daily in-house. There will also be wraps, soups, organic teas and lemonades, too.
“One of the really cool things about Salata is that we really don’t have a menu,” Brad Thomas, Salata’s general manager, previously told CharlotteFive. “Basically your food is what you make it. We don’t have any set recipes or anything — your choices are unlimited.”
On the day of the grand opening, there be special prizes for the first 200 guests in line, along with a build-your-own succulent bar, complimentary salad samples, organic teas and lemonades, and more.
