New restaurant brings locally-sourced foods and California wines to South Charlotte
Napa Bistro & Wine Bar is on tap to bring a little taste of Northern California wine country to South Charlotte when it opens at StoneCrest at Piper Glen on Nov. 25.
The third Napa location in the Charlotte area will offer locally-sourced and seasonal small plates such as Grilled Octopus and its highly popular Cast Iron Meatballs, paired with a rotating selection of more than 100 hand-curated wines from Napa Valley and elsewhere.
Standout entrees on the opening menu include:
Seared Scallops with pancetta crumble, butternut squash risotto and grapefruit beurre blanc
- Wild Mushroom Ravioli with porcini cream, crispy mushrooms, shaved Parmesan and truffle oil
Beef Bourguignon with bacon lardons, pearl onions and petite vegetables with a red wine reduction and whipped potatoes
“We’re thrilled to open our doors at Stonecrest and become a part of this dynamic community,” Napa Restaurant Group owner Jeff Conway said in a news release.
“This new location allows us to bring the unique Napa dining experience to even more guests, combining great food, fine wine, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.”
Much like its Napa on Providence and Napa Kingsley locations, the newest restaurant offers a warm and sleek interior, draped in neutral tones and comfortable seating. The space was designed by FictionWorks.
Reservations are now available for Napa Bistro & Wine Bar’s Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 28, along with the other two locations.
