Charlotte area businesses delays continue Thursday after snowfall
After Wednesday’s winter weather in the Charlotte area brought a bit of snow, businesses prepared by adjusting hours.

Keep your eyes on this article, as we’ll update it as more closings are announced. Here are the bars, restaurants and entertainment venues altering plans on Wednesday, Feb. 25 and Thursday, Feb. 26 as snow hit Charlotte for the third time in 2025:
3rd & Fernwood
Location: 1100 Metropolitan Ave., Suite 170
Status: 3rd & Fernwood restaurant at Metropolitan closed Wednesday due to inclement weather, but plans to reopen Thursday.
Bin 110
Location: 19712 One Norman Blvd., Suite #110, Cornelius, NC 28031
Status: Comedy Night with Lance Weiss was canceled at Bin 110 on Wednesday, and all ticket sales will be refunded.
Brooks’ Sandwich House
Location: 2710 N Brevard St, Charlotte, NC 28205
Status: Brooks’ Sandwich House closed on Wednesday due to the predicted snowy weather. Thursday is to be determined; check the restaurant’s Instagram page for updates. Note that the burger joint will also be closed on Friday and Monday due to owner David Brooks having knee surgery.
Charlotte Re-Cyclery
Location: 812 Atando Ave, Charlotte, NC 28206
Status: Charlotte Re-Cyclery plans to open from noon-6 p.m. on Thursday.
Charlotte Regional Farmers Market
Location: 1801 Yorkmont Rd, Charlotte, NC 28217
Status: The Charlotte Regional Farmers Market will have a two-hour delay, opening at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20.
Community Link
Location: 601 E. 5th St. #460, Charlotte, NC 28202
Status: The Free Tax Prep CLT site at Community Link closed Wednesday due to severe weather, and the office staff will be working remotely Thursday.
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
Location: 6500 S New Hope Rd, Belmont, NC 28012
Status: Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s Trailhead Store and trails closed at 5 p.m. Wednesday due to the snowy weather.
Eggroll Company
Location: Camp North End, 1801 N Graham St., Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28206
Status: Eggroll Company plans to open from noon-5 p.m. Thursday because of the weather.
Eighty Eights Coffee + Cocktails
Location: 4237 Raleigh St., Charlotte, NC 28213
Status: Eighty Eights Coffee + Cocktails delayed its opening Thursday morning until 10 a.m.
Explore Cabarrus Visitor Center
Location: 10099 Weddington Rd Suite 102, Concord, NC 28027
Status: The Explore Cabarrus Visitor Center closed Wednesday, and travel officials advise you to call ahead to confirm hours of operation for local businesses.
Grow Cafe
Location: 5342 Docia Crossing Rd Suite B & C, Charlotte, NC 28269
Status: Grow Cafe is closed Thursday and planned to reach out to reschedule those with reservations.
Hayne Street Tavern
Location: 109 N Hayne St Unit 100, Monroe, NC 28112
Status: Hayne Street Tavern closed on Wednesday, stating that many staff members drive 30-45 minutes to get there and it’s not safe for them — or you — to be out on the roads if it does snow.
Impact One Allstars
Location: Zimmer Business Park Bldg 8, 429 Marvin Road, Fort Mill, SC 29707
Location: 209 Branchview Drive, Suite 301, Concord, NC 28025
Status: An email to parents of the cheerleading and tumbling gym Impact One Allstars said, “To be proactive, at the moment, we are planning to end practices, classes, etc. and CLOSE the gym at 8 p.m. on Wednesday. This will afford our families and coaches time to get home before temperatures drop below freezing. If weather conditions improve, IMPACT ONE will remain open for regular hours.”
Indigo Tea & Coffee Co.

Indigo Tea & Coffee delayed its opening Thursday until 9 a.m.
Jazzercise CLT LoSo

Status: The Percantile and Creamery closed at 4 p.m. Wednesday due to possible icy conditions. It delayed opening Thursday until 8:30 a.m.
Red Clay Ciderworks
Location: 245 Clanton Rd, Charlotte, NC 28217
Status: Red Clay Ciderworks closed early Wednesday at 8 p.m. due to inclement weather. Wednesday night’s Drag Bingo was also rescheduled for Feb. 26.
Royal Bliss Brewing

Status: Royal Bliss Brewing’s planned Galentine’s event, with a girl-dinner featured menu, has been rescheduled from Wednesday, Feb. 19 to Feb. 25. The drop-in event will be from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
