Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, other districts announce Wednesday snow closures
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and other area school districts announced plans for remote learning on Wednesday due to inclement weather.
Temperatures are forecast to dip slightly below freezing Tuesday night, before rising to around 36 degrees on Wednesday. The National Weather Service says light precipitation should develop after sunrise Wednesday, peak late in the morning and end in the afternoon. Most of the Charlotte metro area is expected to receive less than an inch of snow. Sleet and rain may be mixed in with snow.
CMS made its announcement Tuesday evening in a media release.

All scheduled testing will resume when we return to school.”
