Visit Discovery Place Science to view two new exhibits — Mental Health: Mind Matters and Path to Mindfulness. Mental Health: Mind Matters is a traveling exhibition that’s sponsored by Atrium Health and seeks to raise awareness and normalize talking about mental health. Visit The Mint Museum Uptown’s new installation Craft in the Laboratory: The Science of Making Things during its opening on Feb. 12. It’s the first installation in the Southeast to explore how concepts of science, technology, engineering and math play into craft and design.
