Where to find the best Taco Tuesday deals in Charlotte
Taco night, anyone? From mom n’ pop shops to franchises, Charlotte has a lot to offer around town for Taco Tuesday. For many local restaurants, $1 and $2 tacos are on the menu, and some include margarita deals. (There’s even a burrito deal.)
Charlotte’s weekly taco deals are hardly a new concept and hardly unique to our city. The earliest documented evidence of the weekly special was in 1933 in El Paso.

The Burrito Factory

What to order: It’s not a taco, but it’s still a Taco Tuesday special, so it counts: $5.95 Easy Burrito with a choice of protein. Choose between shredded chicken, ground beef, shredded pork and curry chicken.
El Taco Veloz

What to order: On Tuesdays, El Taco Veloz dishes out $1 tacos. Pro tip: Anthony Bourdain once gave his blessing on El Taco Veloz’s authenticity, as well as its lingua tacos, in a trip to the Atlanta location.

La Autentica

What to order: The 22-ounce house margarita — which is $7 on Tuesdays — unlocks the restaurant’s $1 customizable tacos.
