The results are in and the choice is clear: Charlotte Observer readers favor the Bojangles Bo-Berry biscuit by a wide margin over the new Popeyes strawberry biscuit.
Voters picked the Bo-Berry — a Bojangles biscuit infused with blueberries and covered in a sweet icing — over the Popeyes strawberry biscuit — a similar set-up but with strawberry bits — by a margin of 85% to 15% in our poll.
The Bo-Berry is a staple of the Bojangles menu, while the strawberry biscuit is only available at Popeyes for a limited time.
The people’s choice lines up the thoughts of the Observer’s Service Journalism Team, who all chose the Bo-berry in our taste test, despite the strawberry biscuit beating expectation. Watch the video above to hear all our thoughts on both biscuits.
