A wellness-driven restaurant is coming to South End’s newest development, providing a taste of food and health.

True Food Kitchen, a full-service restaurant and bar, is opening up in Linea South End, a new mixed-use residential tower on Hawkins Street. True Food Kitchen is expected to open its doors in early 2025, joining with Linea’s other openings, Night Swim Coffee and BAR ONE, both launching in late 2024.

It will share courtyard space with office building The Line, home to the new Sycamore Brewing location.

This new space will have both outdoor and indoor seating options that customers can enjoy along with True Food Kitchen’s focus on nutrient-dense staples and superfoods.

FOOD & DRINKS: True Food Kitchen is dedicated to the philosophy that food should make customers feel better while making it super tasty. It will be serving signature dishes such as Grilled Korean Steak and Bone Broth Chicken Ramen, which carries rich, Asian flavors.

Customers can also enjoy other variety of dishes like Harissa Chicken Pizza, which includes garlic puree, red onion, cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. Wash it down with one of its signature craft cocktails, such as the Cucumber Martini or Rose Sangria.

If you still have room for dessert, you can enjoy the restaurant’s popular sweets, including The Pink Lime Tart and Flourless Chocolate Cake — which are both gluten-free.

“We can’t wait to introduce new guests to our chef-crafted menu that tastes as good as it makes you feel,” said John Williams, CEO at True Food Kitchen.

This popular chain has 44 other locations in 17 states, including New York and Florida. The Charlotte location will be its first in North Carolina.
