What’s cooking in Charlotte? Black Restaurant Week highlights local gems
This week is Black Restaurant Week in the Carolinas, offering an opportunity to explore Black-owned food and beverage businesses including bars, bakeries and snack shops through Sunday, May 4.
The event is in its fourth year in the Carolinas, although the group behind the movement has held similar Black Restaurant Week offerings across the nation for 10 years now. Here, you’ll find restaurants highlighted in Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina, and Colombia and Charleston in South Carolina.
