Charlotte-area brunch spot opens doors on new location. ‘We’re so excited’
A Charlotte-area diner promises to serve “good food and plenty of it” at its newest location.
Stacks Kitchen, known for its all-day breakfast, has opened a new spot in Lancaster, South Carolina, the restaurant said via Instagram. With locations in Waxhaw and Matthews, this will mark the eatery’s third location in the Charlotte metro.
The diner will set up shop inside the former Leigh-Anne’s Restaurant spot along North Catawba Street.
“Mark and Karen Defeo will run and operate the restaurant, keeping the same tradition of heart and hospitality you’ve come to expect,” Stacks said via Instagram. “We are so excited for them!!”
CharlotteFive reached out for more information Tuesday and was awaiting a response.
Stacks Kitchen-Lancaster will serve more of the same crowd favorites. Customers can expect classic breakfast including eggs, pancakes, waffles and French toast, CharlotteFive previously reported. Fried green tomatoes are also on the menu alongside baked meatloaf, shrimp and grits and other comfort foods.
And what’s a diner without dessert? Options include an assortment of cakes, pies, ice cream and other sweet treats.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
