Burger joint with famous crinkle fries plots a new restaurant near Charlotte
Shake Shake will serve its famous burgers and crinkle fries at a new Charlotte-area restaurant.
The burger joint is set to open Wednesday, March 11, at the Concord Mills shopping center in Concord. The grand opening celebration kicks off at 10:30 a.m., and $1 of every sandwich sold will benefit Second Harvest of Metrolina, according to a news release sent to CharlotteFive.
Shake Shack is no stranger to Charlotte, with existing locations in South End, Steele Creek, Madison Park and South Charlotte. Its 2018 opening at Park Road shopping center marked its first foray into the city, CharlotteFive previously reported.
The new Concord restaurant will be its 11th location in North Carolina.
The New York City-born brand is known for its made-to-order burgers and fries, but it also offers crispy chicken sandwiches, hand-spun milkshakes, hot dogs, lemonades and more. Vegetarian options, like the Shroom Burger and Veggie Shack, are also available.
Shake Shack Concord Mills will be open 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday-Friday; and 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
