Krispy Kreme is giving away doughnuts, if you dress the part. How to get a free one
Krispy Kreme is celebrating Independence Day with free doughnuts.
To mark America’s 250th birthday, anyone wearing red, white and blue on July 4 can score a free original glazed doughnut at participating Krispy Kreme shops nationwide.
No purchase is necessary, and doughnuts are limited to one per person.
The Charlotte-based doughnut chain also launched a festive Fourth of July collection, featuring new and returning treats, to mark the occasion:
- USA Doughnut (NEW): Unglazed shell doughnut with Cookies n’ Kreme filling, dipped in red icing and topped with patriotic stars and a USA sugar piece.
- Firework Doughnut (NEW): Original glazed doughnut dipped in vanilla icing, topped with glitter and a firecracker sugar piece.
- Freedom Ring Doughnut: Original glazed doughnut dipped in white icing with blue sprinkles and white stars. It’s then piped with red stripes.
- Chocolate iced with Patriotic Sprinkles: Original glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing with patriotic sprinkles.
Earlier this month, Krispy Kreme also debuted two new doughnuts as part of its Summer Seasonal Collection: the Original Glazed Strawberry Cake Doughnut and Lemon Bar Doughnut.
The limited-time menu also includes two new frozen lemonades.
