Home tours: This lakefront home has an artist studio and gallery, home office, outdoor bar.

If you’ve seen Rosalia Torres-Weiner’s murals and other artwork around Charlotte, you can probably imagine that her home is as colorful and lively as her art.

At least, that’s what we imagined when we asked her if CharlotteFive phogotrapher/videographer Alex could come over and see for himself — and, as you’re about to see, the artist did not disappoint.

Bright, vibrant colors are a signature of Torres-Weiner’s Mexican culture, and her paintbrush helps tell stories of Charlotte’s Latin community. The Lake Wylie home on the North Carolina side she shares with husband Ben Weiner is art-gallery-meets-lake-living style, if there is such a thing.

If there’s not, she’s not only invented it, she’s perfected it.
